Treating infected pregnant women and their partners is a challenging step in the prevention of syphilis vertical transmission. This study evaluated the prevalence and the factors associated with the therapeutic adhesion among partners of pregnant women with syphilis in a county of northeastern Brazil. Here we demonstrate an important lack of treatment among the study partners, which was associated with various socioeconomic factors. |
