Core Tip |
This study identified the risk factors associated with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and further established a risk prediction model based on the clinical characteristics and liver indicators. By evaluating in the training cohort and confirming with the validation cohort, we proved that the proposed model has good sensitivity and specificity in high-risk populations with HCC, with a high accuracy in early-stage HCC diagnosis. In addition, we recommend a risk prediction scale (low to very high risk). This will help clinicians to diagnose HCC earlier and thus improve the prognosis of patients. |
