Core Tip |
Nivolumab-induced gastritis is a less common immune-related adverse event of nivolumab. The most common symptoms include nausea, pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and weight loss. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy and biopsy are the most important diagnostic tools. In most cases, gastritis is treated with corticosteroids in combination with proton pump inhibitors. In our case, the patient was successfully treated with omeprazole monotherapy. |
