Core Tip |
Kidney disease in patients with chronic liver disease is common and associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Most literature on this topic is based in men. However, there are important sex differences to consider in pathophysiology and outcomes in men and women that are poorly addressed in the literature. Here, we synthesize data on sex differences in kidney disease amongst patients with liver disease. |
