Core Tip |
Our findings indicate that all treatments yield comparable results, with each treatment potentially offering unique advantages or benefits. The effect of preoperative motivation on the delay of rehabilitation after an ankle sprain can be substantial and multi-faceted. Psychological factors can influence an individual's perception of the severity of their injury, their perceived control over the recovery and can have an impact on an individual's willingness, motivation, and ability to engage in the rehabilitation process. Lack of studies and the different ways that RTS or RTW was defined can cause potential limitations in the interpretation of the results. |
