Core Tip |
The Optimys hip stem showed an excellent 5-year survival of 98.9%, when excluding infections this was 99.4%. This is in line with the earlier results of the Roentgen Stereophotogrammetric analysis study done by our group and we expect it to be in line with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence criteria on total hip arthroplasty for the 10-year follow-up. This study shows that in a large varied patient population there is similar survival as other cohorts with short femoral stems. |
