Core Tip In recent years, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal polyps and cancer has increased. These applications include automated polyp detection and classification as well as qualitative and staging diagnosis of colorectal cancer. This article provides an overview of recent research focusing on the application of AI in colorectal polyps and cancer and highlights the advances achieved.
